HOTEL Kinsley - john street

Kingston, NY, 2022

Selected artworks for the permanent collection of Hotel Kinsley’s John Street building. Converted from a residential European style cottage predating the Revolutionary War, the building features seven charming rooms with historical details. Built in the early 18th century, it was reportedly destroyed in the burning of Kingston in 1777, with only its stone walls left intact. This hotel is part of Hotel Kinsley’s ambitious project comprising four restored buildings in the buzzing Hudson Valley enclave of Kingston, NY. The space was designed by Robert McKinley and opened  early 2022.

Some of the artists included in the collection are: Ana Kraš, Emma Corrall, Alice Lancaster, and Rejin Leys, among others.
